Metro Ticket Purchase Procedure
Guangzhou Metro supports UnionPay credit card, Apple Pay QuickPass, also supports taking tickets at the TVMs of the station after pre-purchasing single-trip tickets, day passes by mobile phone, or supports the purchase of tickets at the equipment at the station via WeChat, Alipay, UnionPay Wallet, Dragon Pay, etc., thus reducing the time to buy tickets, change money, etc. and allowing you to take the metro quickly. The details are as follows:
I.UnionPay Credit Card
(i) Which credit cards can take the metro?
For the APM line, the IC debit card/IC credit card beginning with "62", with QuickPass logo and opened for small-amount no-password services allows direct deduction and pass through the dedicated turnstile. For the other lines, the IC credit card beginning with "62", with QuickPass logo and opened for small-amount no-password services allows direct swiping and pass through the dedicated turnstile, with the fee deducted from the credit card on the next day.

1.One card for one person only; one card for one entry and one exit only. In the case where a card not used according to rules, Guangzhou Metro shall have the right to limit the function of the card to take a train of the metro.
2. For the consumption records of the card that is not used in accordance with the rule of "one card for one entry and one exit only", one minimum one-trip fare shall be charged for each record of passing through the turnstile. 3. In order to avoid false swiping or repeated swiping, please do not overlap the ticket card when passing through the turnstile with UnionPay QuickPass credit card. Be sure to swipe the same credit card to enter and exit. 4. Should any doubt about the credit card deduction, you may handle the problem at any station of the metro within 7 working days after the deduction, and you will receive the response within 6 to 10 working days after acceptance.
